DiveHub Launches Dive Equipment Tracker for Scuba Divers

Divers getting ready

Every diver knows the question: "When did I last get my regulator serviced?"

If you've ever dug through emails, receipts or a dusty logbook for the answer, DiveHub's new My Equipment feature is for you. It's live now for all divers.

What is the DiveHub equipment tracker?

My Equipment gives you a personal gear locker alongside your dive log. Pick your equipment from the DiveHub catalogue, with its type, manufacturer and picture. Then build a complete record of everything you dive with, including regulators, BCDs, dive computers, fins, masks and wetsuits.

What you can do

  • Build your gear list. Add equipment from the catalogue and see it all together on one page.
  • Track your purchase date. Record when you bought each piece. You can add it later, change it or clear it at any time.
  • Log every service. Add a service date each time a piece of kit is checked over. Your service history stays in date order, so your most recent service is easy to find.
  • A page for every item. Select any piece of equipment to open its own page showing its details, purchase date and service history. You can bookmark it and come straight back.
  • Own duplicates? No problem. Two of the same mask, or a spare dive computer, each get their own dates, so you can manage them separately.
  • Tidy up when you need to. Sold or retired a piece of kit? Delete it. DiveHub asks you to confirm first, so you don't remove anything by accident.
  • Sensible checks built in. DiveHub won't accept dates in the future, and it won't let you log a service that predates the purchase, so your records stay accurate.
  • Private to you. Your equipment belongs to your account. Other divers can't see it.

Why equipment tracking matters

Well-maintained gear is safer gear. Regular servicing is a core part of responsible diving, and manufacturers recommend service intervals for life-support equipment such as regulators. A clear service history helps you:

  • Stay on top of maintenance and spot when a service is due.
  • Dive with confidence, knowing your kit's history.
  • Plan trips by checking your gear before you travel.
  • Keep your records in one place instead of scattered across receipts and notebooks.

Built for divers

DiveHub is a simple place for scuba divers to log their dives and share their experiences with other divers. Equipment tracking is the next step. Your gear history now sits next to your dive log, so your diving lives in one place. Any diver with an Open Water or Deep Diver account can manage their equipment in DiveHub.

Get started today

  1. Sign in to DiveHub with an Open Water or Deep Diver account.
