Importing Dives

If your dive computer software can export a file in DL7 or UDDF format, you can import those dives directly into DiveHub instead of entering them by hand.

Before you start

Download your dives from your dive computer using the manufacturer's desktop software (for example, Suunto DM5 for DL7 files, or your computer's own app for UDDF files). Make sure the exported file is saved somewhere easy to find on your device.

Import steps

  1. Open DiveHub and tap Add Dive on the Dives tab.
  2. Instead of filling in the form manually, tap Import file and select your .dl7 or .uddf file.
  3. DiveHub reads the file and pre-fills the dive details it finds — depth, time, temperature, and profile data.
  4. Review the pre-filled details. Some fields that dive computers do not record — such as the Dive Site name — will be blank. Fill these in now.
  5. Tap Save. The dive appears in your logbook immediately.

Tips

  • You can import multiple files one at a time by repeating the steps above.
  • If a field is imported with the wrong units, check your unit preference in Account Settings.
  • If the import fails, make sure the file is not corrupted and that it matches a supported format (DL7 or UDDF).
