Exporting Dives from Aqualung
Aqualung Bluetooth dive computers — including the i200C, i300C, i330R, i470TC, i750TC, and i770R — use the DiverLog+ mobile app to download your dives. DiverLog+ syncs your dives to DiveCloud, Aqualung's online dive log, and DiveCloud is where you export them as a file that DiveHub can import.
DiverLog+ itself does not export files, so the process has three parts: download the dives to your phone, sync them to DiveCloud, then export them from the DiveCloud website.
Before you start
- Install DiverLog+ on your iOS or Android device and pair it with your dive computer over Bluetooth, following Aqualung's instructions for your model.
- Create a free DiveCloud account and sign in to it from inside DiverLog+.
- Have a computer or tablet handy to open the DiveCloud website. The free DiveCloud plan includes a limited amount of storage, so a long dive history may need a paid plan.
Export steps
- Open DiverLog+ and download your dives from your dive computer.
- Make sure the dives sync to your DiveCloud account.
- Go to the DiveCloud website and sign in with the same account.
- Select the dives you want to export. You can select all of them at once.
- Click the Options button (the gear icon) above the dive list and choose Export.
- DiveCloud downloads a
.zipfile. Extract it on your computer — it contains a file for each dive.
Importing into DiveHub
Once you have extracted the files, import them one dive at a time:
- Open DiveHub and tap Add Dive on the Dives tab.
- Tap Import file and select one of the dive files from the extracted folder.
- DiveHub reads the file and pre-fills the dive details it finds — depth, time, temperature, and profile data.
- Fill in any details DiverLog+ doesn't record, such as the Dive Site name.
- Tap Save.
- Repeat for each dive you want to bring across.
Older Aqualung computers
Aqualung computers that connect with a USB download cable rather than Bluetooth, such as the i100, i200, i300, i450T, and i550, are downloaded with the DiverLog desktop software. Check its export options for DL7 or UDDF, which DiveHub can import.
See Importing Dives for more detail on the import process.
